Yugioh would probably be canned since Konami would be up the creek without a paddle for taking Industrial Illusion's Duel Monsters. In fact, he'd probably initiate a copyright claim on Duel Masters and or challenge them to a shadow game court case pre-Duelist Kingdom. I don't think Pegasus would do business with this competitor because of the name and how similar it plays to MtG. Now, Duel Masters (in the real world, not my fictional NK TCG version of it since I forgot about it until Walnuts mentioned it on Discord) is literally a rip from MTG with it's mana system and color archetypes with the name extremely close to Duel Monsters. I am unfamiliar with Vanguard though so I don't think I could write a good integration of that concerning itself with Duel Monsters I'm not sure where Light Bringer Lucifer comes from, but there's a potential cross with that in the Walnut Universe. Light Bringer Lucifer is different since it is an actual card that exists with Simon having it. I don't think this would be the proper thread for it though, and if I were to write any crossovers, it would be focused around Lara Mayvin / Walnut's quest (since we're in it right now and I have too much respect for the QM to derail the thread with this plot bunny). At the same time, does that make those worlds appear in the Spirit World? Would Nicol Bolas try to use his Eternals to do battle with the ECGs? Would we get Eldrazi versions of famous monsters like the Heroes? Would we get a full on War of the Spark in the Spirit World? Or vice versa? It's fascinating to think of the what ifs of a potential MtG cross with Duel Monsters. If I were to continue on the history of other Card Games interacting with a Duel Monsters centered world, I could see crossover cards would probably be printed in collaboration to Duel Monsters.
